Biography

In 2005 Bernard appeared as a Funeral Director in the critically acclaimed movie Look Both Ways.

 In 2002, Bernard appeared as Constable Fairweather in the S.A. Film Corporation's feature film Black and White.

 He has has appeared in a number of television commercials, including, rather appropriately, as a lab-coat-wearing scientist in a road safety advertisement.

 In 1996 Bernard’s voice “appeared” on the ABC Television’s program Club Buggery hosted by the Australian comedians Roy Slaven and H. G. Nelson. Bernard provided the voices for most of the featured characters in their “Footy Opera Project”, to which the cast of A Country Practice mimed.

 Bernard has performed live on “The Channel Niners” (A children’s television program) and as a guest soloist in the Wesley Mission’s Easter Sunrise Service televised live from the Sydney Opera House.

A live performance of Rossini's Stabat Mater, recorded at the Perth Concert Hall with the Western Australian Symphony Orchestra, in which Bernard sang the tenor solosit part, has twice been broadcast on Australia's ABC-TV.
