How Can I Know Jesus Loves Me

Rivka:

How can I know Jesus loves me,

Here in this life draining place?

Why would he care what I’m going through?

How could he know what I face?

Could he be here in Ravensbrook

And caring for my disgrace?

Corrie:

Jesus has shown all humanity,

The depths of his wonderful grace,

Suffering shame and indignity,

With blood flowing over his face,

Brutally whipped by his captors,

And finally crucified at Calvary,

Jesus’ form was so disfigured,

Nailed to the splintered cross for you and me,

Hanging there in total agony.

Jesus has opened the way for us,

To join in his family above,

His death on the cross has revealed to us,

The ultimate truth of his love,

That’s how I know Jesus loves you,

And that he cares for all you’re going through.
