My Love Is...

music and lyrics by Bernard Hull

My love is one in a million,

My love is simply divine,

When she goes out at night,

The stars refuse to shine.

My love's beyond all description,

Mere words could never define

How I was swept away,

The day I made her mine.

If I held the wealth of the world in my lap,

The treasures from thousands of ships,

It all would be worthless, fit only for scrap,

Compared with the touch of your lips.

My love's more fragrant than springtime,

Than any flower that grows,

My love is sweeter than

The most exquisite rose.

My love's more precious than diamonds,

Brighter than platinum and gold,

My love outshines the sun

By at least a thousand fold.

Were I in the desert and hopelessly lost,

Dieing from hunger and thirst,

One sip from the nectar that flows from your lips

And my problems would all be reversed.

My love is one in a million,

My love is simply divine,

When she goes out at night,

The stars refuse to shine
