Praise the Lord

music and lyrics by Bernard Hull

VERSE 1:

Walking through the fields, I see the beauty all around,

The cattle grazing very still, the grass grows thick upon the ground,

The mountain ranges stand in silence looking everywhere,

And the birds that fly above act like they haven’t got a care,

CHORUS:

Praise the Lord!

For the beauty of creation all around,

Praise the Lord!

Yes, with glory and with honour He is crowned.

VERSE2:

I often sit and wonder at the power of the sea,

I never cease to marvel at the beauty of a bee,

The trees that stretch their limbs to reach the sky above,

It was made to fit together like a hand does in a glove.

CHORUS:

VERSE 3:

I’m constantly amazed by the things that can’t be seen,

The clouds that hide the heavens with their rain so nice and clean,

The sun and moon and stars emit their light so we can grow,

But there’s many things I’m sure that we will never know.

CHORUS:

VERSE 4:

But the thing I grieve the most is that men just do not care,

The do not realize the power unleashed by earnest prayer,

They just do not believe that Jesus came from God above,

From the omni-present, tri-une God, the only God of Love

CHORUS:
